Modelling 3D Wieners (the easy way)
Cool ass shit alert.
I love Graffiti Kingdom.
It's a game for the PS2 that allows you to draw, then 3D model your own characters. They start off very rudimentary, but after progressing in the game you get better tools to make cleaner looking characters.
The 3D model creation engine is from a Japanese professor, Takeo Igarashi.
The engine is called "Teddy". It creates a 3D shape from a 2D drawing. The original paper and java program is still available to use.
Click "download Teddy package" - It'll give you a zip of teddy. You need java to run it btw.
It exports your models as .obj files, so you can import them into blender, or view them with microsoft's 3D viewer!
I recommend trying it. It's much more entertaining than 3D paint.
He also put out a unity plugin for teddy so you can quickly make models in your unity project.
Though it's a tiny, basic program, you can put out 3d sketches very quickly.
You can make 3D dicks to send to your friends so easily.
Poop joke.
My routine for this week so far:
Wake up, shower, get coffee.
Sit through work.
Go home and drink 2-3 bourbon sodas.
Sit at my PC, get a wild hair, hop on my bike.
Arrive to grocery store drunk, looking trad-homo. Mustache, tight tanktop, skinny and hairy, cut-off jorts, high white socks and birkenstocks.
Get home with spontaneous drunk groceries, take shower, go on PC.
Play vidya or talk on Discord with other tards.
Get high at 10pm sharp, go to bed at 10:30.
...
I'm pretty sure this is unsustainable. It's like as soon as I craved structure and freedom in my home life, I freaked out and caved for a bunch of hedonistic pleasures.
Although, what's funny is that this is more structure and routine than I've probably ever had at home. So I guess this is a good(ish) start.
I'm going to try and not drink tonight when I get home. I'll open blender or SAI, but not wait around in Discord for someone to join.
I haven't set any creative goals. I set a goal to think about setting a goal. Goal achieved, I guess.
If I really do decide to go off the employment-grid for a bit, I have to recognize these patterns and set real attainable goals.
I may start a private bear blog to keep track of this I dunno.
