I'm not one to give a shit about geopolitics, so I have zero hang-ups about DeepSeek. It steals the same kind and amount of data as GPT so I don't care. Don't feed the robot your weaknesses, and make it frequently write rap songs about toe-sucking and poop.
Make the world run off open source software.
I hope a Chinese OS comes out that's literally just Linux Mint and Proton packaged together, and it's marketed as free, better windows. I want to see Bill Gates' analytic sucking, ad-ware ridden, bloated nightmare of an OS be shot down in one day too. Fuck you for making me stress about cramming a third party TPM 2.0 chip onto my MOBO. Fuck you for hiding the right click menu behind a new, shittier right click menu. Fuck you for "XBox Game Bar". And a HUGE fuck you for pushing Copilot into my system, and therefore into my job as an IT guy.
Let some China-based company bundle together all the (better) Adobe alternatives too. I want them all to suffer the financial burden that they've created over decades of user abuse.
